PRIVACY · UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2026
What we keep, and why
Short, because there is not much to say. We sell land; we are not in the data business.
What we collect
Nothing about visitors that identifies them. We count page views and clicks with a one-way hash of your address, browser and the calendar day, which cannot be turned back into you and is different tomorrow. No advertising cookies, no trackers, no third-party analytics.
What you give us. An email address for alerts (with what you told us you are looking for); name, email, phone and parcel details when you offer us land; name, email, phone and mailing address when you buy, plus the payments on your contract. Card and bank details go to Stripe and never touch us.
Public records. Listings and our acquisition work use county assessor and clerk records, which are public. We do not publish owner names or addresses from those records on this site.
What it is used for
Selling you land and looking after your contract; answering you; sending the alerts you asked for, with one-click unsubscribe on every one; meeting our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone except the services that make the site run — Stripe for payments, our email provider for mail, our hosting provider for the servers — and a title company or notary when a closing needs one.
Your account page
Signing in uses a link emailed to you, valid for thirty minutes and once. The sign-in cookie lasts thirty days. Sign out to clear it.
Keeping and deleting
Contract and payment records are kept for as long as the law and our accountants require. Alert subscriptions are deleted when you unsubscribe. Anything else, ask at benny@nmlot.com and we will delete what we are not required to keep.
Changes
If this changes materially we will say so here. Questions to benny@nmlot.com.
